EasyGPG will do something useful with any file or folder you drop onto its Desktop file. All files created by GPG are handled as you would hope except for detached signatures. EasyGPG properly handles all keys and messages appearing in text, even if there are several.

Downloading the Latest Version if You Already Have Version 4.3 or Later Installed

Just double-click Check for a new version of EasyGPG in the EasyGPG-Actions folder. After the update is complete, you may need to refresh the folder to make all icons appear properly. You now have the latest Version.

Downloading the Latest Version if You Already Have Version 4.0 to 4.2.1 Installed

Just double-click Check for a new version of EasyGPG in the EasyGPG-Actions folder. If the icons don’t look correct, refresh the folder. Now double-click Check for a new version of EasyGPG again. After the update is complete, you may need to refresh the folder to make all icons appear properly. You now have the latest Version.

Downloading the Latest Version if You Already Have Version 3.0 to 3.4 Installed

Just select the “Check for a new version of EasyGPG” option in EasyGPG’s main menu. When updating is complete, the newly created EasyGPG-Actions folder will open. Double-click Check for a new version of EasyGPG in this folder. After the update is complete, you may need to refresh the folder to make all icons appear properly. You now have the latest Version. Downloading the Latest Version if You Already Have a Version Earlier than 3.0 Installed

Follow the instructions below, but select your already-existing EasyGPG folder. If you do this correctly, you will be asked whether or not you want to replace the existing EasyGPG. Click “Replace” to replace your old version of EasyGPG with the latest version.

Double-click Set Up EasyGPG, and then refresh the folder. In the EasyGPG-Actions folder, double-click EasyGPG Help to read about this new version.

Downloading the Latest Version if You Don’t Already Have an Earlier Version Installed

When you click on the following link, you will be prompted either to save the file or open it with the appropriate software. If you save it, find where you saved it, and then double-click it.

In either case, extract the contents of the file, which will be a folder called EasyGPG-Installer. Open this folder, and double-click Install EasyGPG. The installer will download the latest version of EasyGPG, and then prompt for a location in which to save your new EasyGPG folder. By default, the new EasyGPG folder will be named easygpg, but you can use any name you like. When the new folder is saved, a window will open to the new folder.
